Siobhan Andersen

Senior Associate

After completing degrees in Law and Arts at the University of Western Australia, Siobhan was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor in March 2007.

Siobhan has gained her principal experience in workplace relations while working in-house for Western Australia’s largest university. In this capacity, Siobhan worked closely with senior management and human resources staff on divergent matters, including:

• advising on the university’s enterprise agreements;
• preparing contracts of employment;
• reviewing policies and procedures; and
• advising on and managing various employment and industrial relations disputes, involving issues such as misconduct, redundancy, and discrimination.

Siobhan’s focus is to ensure effective outcomes for clients by dealing with and resolving matters pragmatically and efficiently.

Siobhan has also assisted other clients, ranging from a significant telecommunications company, to government departments, statutory authorities, and regulators, among others.

Siobhan has been involved with training both clients, and other lawyers alike. For instance, Siobhan has presented a number of seminars and published various articles on cogent legal topics.

Outside of work, Siobhan enjoys playing netball, horseriding and bikram yoga.

Siobhan commenced employment with PCS in June 2011.
