Joydeep’s professional qualifications include him being a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute, holding a Master of Laws from University of Sydney (where he previously completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours degree and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English literature).

With over 16 years’ continuous experience in advising employers on all aspects of law and strategy in workplace relations and HR, Joydeep continues to advise leading Australian private sector and public sector employers and across every industry. Having acted for Jessica Rowe in her high-profile litigation against Channel 10 in 2006 (and subsequently in Jessica’s dispute with the Nine Network) Joydeep continues to represent prominent media personalities Georgie Gardner, Peter Overton and Jennifer Hawkins as well as a litany of other senior executives.

Joydeep appears as a regular guest on Sky Business Channel, and is a regular presenter at HR, Management and industry briefings. He has authored numerous books, including: Inside Employee Screening, two editions of Managing Termination of Employment, Work Choices FAQs, Fair Work Act FAQs, Finders Keepers: How to Attract and Retain Great Employees and most recently Managing Workplace Behaviour: a Best Practice Guide.
