In the lead-up to 2012, when Australia has uniform OHS laws across all its States and Territories, there are some important opportunities for business. Some of the work we have done for our clients in this space includes:

• conducting comprehensive legal audits where we assess what infrastructure they have in place against what they are legally required to have;
• partnering with risk consultants and other operational OHS specialists to make recommendations to clients on modifications that improve compliance;
• tailoring training programs for Boards, Directors, managers and supervisors as well as employees on their personal OHS obligations, exposures and what they can do to improve compliance.
